The events get displayed by the Start Time field (including the time portion of the event).

Let's say that you have 2 event, one called xEvent that starts at 9am and another event called aEvent that starts at 1pm then the xEvent will be displayed first.

If they're all day events then they'll be displayed in the order you create them.
