Hi , I think this would be a very useful configuration option. The current one size fits all is limiting.

The ability to open a 2nd dialog inside the first would also be useful [e.g. the first dialog is a qLIstView where you pick and item, this opens a 2nd dialog with a qListForm with autofilled data from the qListView] to help provide context for the user.
