Hi Darin,

     Setup your web part as you want the users to have it then export the web part as template. Once you have the exported file you import it into your SharePoint web parts gallery.

When a user drops this web part on a page it has all the values you have setup prior to exporting.

I’d like to be able to copy a quest web part or perhaps create a template that webparts can be created from.  For example,  the qDiscussionView webpart has a lot of customizable settings but I need to make it easy for users to add the webpart already setup the right way.  Is there an easy way to do this or even a not so easy way?
