What happens when you make click to open the form in a dialog? Do you get any javascript error(s)?

No Javascript errors and it opens the new record in the same window, not  a dialog.

Let's do the following. Create a web part page, place a qListForm on it then go to teh qListView and change the LinkTo property to point to this newly created page and see whether the page opens in a dialog or not.

Hi, I have setup a list with a child list.  I have set the setting in QuickApps to Dialog and also in the list itself. The Edit and View forms launch in a dialog like you would expect. However the new form does not.

Sharepoint 2010 and 6.3.
