AnonymousParticipantHi adamst,
We have just recently implemented a new feature leveraging the dialog framework new to SharePoint 2010. The user will be able to choose between opening a form launched by a custom action in the current window, a new browser window, or a SharePoint dialog. This feature is brand new and it will be available in the next release (5.7) of Quest Web Parts so it is not supported just yet but will be once you upgrade to v5.7.
Thanks,
Yuan

AnonymousParticipantHi Yuan – Any update on this fix? Is February still a likely release date?

AnonymousParticipantHi,
I have a custom action on a qListForm which launches another form. The launched form, however, opens in a regular web page as opposed to a modal dialog box similar to the Add New Item link with native sharepoint list. Is there a way to achieve this with Quest.
Thanks.

AnonymousParticipant5.7 will be available sometimes around end of March to beginning of April introducing many new features and enhancements including support for SP modal dialog with custom action.
