Problem with Alternating Item Style in qListView

  qListView is Product Version 5.4 (Build 2010.12.1)
  
  I'm running SharePoint Server 2010 Enterprise.

  Thanks for providing the versions.
  
  I see the issue in QWP 5.4. I changed the skin to Office2007 same result.
  
  Then I checked the latest relase 5.6 and the feature works as expected (I used the skin Windows7 so I can see nicely you background color).
  
  Any chance for you to upgrade to 5.6?

  I’ve configued my qListView web part to read from a single list without any grouping.
  
  To make it easier to read, I added a grey background to the Alternating Item Style (i.e. “background-color:#E4E4E4;”). When I open the page, the web part looks exactly as I expect it to – the odd number lines have a white background,the even numbered lines have a grey background.
  
  The trouble is that when I resort the web part (as I’m sure users will do – often) the grey backgrounds disappear.
  
  Does anyone know why that might be happening?

  If it were up to me we would have upgraded already. I'll take it up with the SharePoint Admins. Thanks!
