I have 2 lists for which I’m trying to establish a Parent/Child relationship using qListView web part. The columns that I want to use for this relation are of type Date and Time. This does not yield any results. If I try to build a relation between columns of other types, it works alright.

I’m putting down a sample schema of these lists.

Activity List

n

Title | Activity | Available Date

Registration List

n

Title | Name | Selected Date 

n

For a value of Available Date in the Activity List, there can be many items with the same value in Selected Date in the Registration List. I want to depict this in the qListView we part.

Steps followed

n

1. Chose Activity List in Viewed Lists of the qListView web part

n

2. Added Registration List as a ‘Child List’

n

3. Configured Parent Key Field Name as Available Date and Child Key Field Name as Selected Date

n

Alas, this does not display any items in the Child List although there are items that satisfy the condition.

Any pointers?
