After you install the product, locate the web.config file for your SharePoint Web application that has the Quest Shared Web Parts installed. You will need to make the following changes to it:
1. Under the node, '', change the attribute 'enableSessionState' to true.

AnonymousParticipant, thanks for pointing me in the right direction. In looking at the stuff in web.config, it doesn't look like my install added any of that. I will have to do it manually when I get some time to do that and make sure I have good backups.

AnonymousParticipantI have installed the free qDiscussion web part successfully and added it to a page to test. It complains that I don’t have session state enabed. Can anyone direct me to documentation on how to accomplish that? I really have tried to search here on the Quest site.

These changes have to be done manually.
Please backup your original web.config file before doing this.
