I have a qlistform with person or group field and attachment. Whenever a document is attached or deleted, the value in the person and group field is dropped.

This is version 5.2, 2007 environment.

Is there a workaround or fix for this.

  Unfortunately Quest Web Parts (now QuickApps for SharePoint) for SharePoint 2007 are out of support.

n

I'd recommend you to upgrade to SP2010 or SP2013 latest version (6.3). If that's impossible for you then I'd upgrade to Quest Web Parts 5.7 for SP2007.
