AnonymousParticipantHi John,
n
I tried the LinkTo functionality in Chrome and I had no problems. At first time, the popup was blocked by Chrome but as soon as I allowed the pop-ups to open it worked every time.
n
Also I had no issues using Chrome to work with ezEdit. Can you please provide more details if you want me to look into this further?
n
Thanks,
n

AnonymousParticipantHi ,
n
For us this is still problematic.
n
Are you running Chrome from OSX? Are you connecting to a local VM?

AnonymousParticipantHi , just sorted this. We were using a 'vanity' url to access this server. We flipped it back, all the issues were resolved. Thanks for your help! Cheers.

AnonymousParticipantHi , unfortunately this issue is not resolved.
n
The issue relates to Link to: [Open Link in: Dailog/NewWindow/CurrentWindow] created in the qSiListView web part and then accessed via an 'alternate address' e.g. http://appbuilderwebaddress.cld.sr/sites/dev/SitePages/testHome.aspx The links only fail in the qSiListView, they work fine if configured in a qListView web part. It fails consistently across IE, Chrome, Safari and FireFox.
n
If we access the same site page locally i.e. http://<servername>/Sites/dev/SitePages/testHome.aspx the same links created in the qSiListView work fine!
n
If you want to check, send me your direct email to<ADMIN NOTE: Email id removed as per privacy policy>and I can pass the url and login details, screen shots, for review your side. Cheers!

AnonymousParticipantHi ,
n
I just wanted to re visit this issue. We are seeing one of our customers having ongoing issues with the 'Link to' option in the qListView [also in the GOTO url in Custom Actions] when using the 'Open in Dialog' feature on Chrome and Safari. IE is fine. In fact Chrome works if it is running on the SP server. We have also been able to replicate the same issue on our servers.
n
In this case they/we are using SharePoint 2013 SP1 with QA 6.3.
n
The testing we did on our SP 2013 environment mirrors our customers experience. Here are our findings ….

AnonymousParticipantNo.
n
This is happening on multiple environments, in different offices. This current information relates to the qListview. The previous entries here were qSiListView related.
n
Can you replicate this your side?

AnonymousParticipantHi John,
n
On May 12 you said the following:

n
Did you change that since then?

AnonymousParticipantHi, has anybody experienced the web links [to other site pages and or out the to web] created in the ‘Display Fields’ then ‘Link To:’ just not working in either Safari or Chrome. They seem to work fine in IE. They were working fine in 6.2.
n
Side note: when opening EziEdit from the qSIListView in Chrome or Safari when accessing the Catalog or Display Fields and the XML in Advance mode it all just fails.

AnonymousParticipantFurther to this….. We have just checked similar links [open in dialog] on SP 2010 running QA6.2. They are working correctly with both Chrome and Safari.
