When a list contains more than one rich text field (RTF) and you want to attach files to each RTF, the contents of the pervious fields are displayed as well.

Cause

This is by design as each attachment set is stored with the record. So if there is multiple RTFs than all the attached content is visable as it is all the same record.

Resolution

There has been an enhancement request to allow each field to have its own repository. Please check with the release notes, sales or support to see if this enhancemnt has made it into the product yet. The enhancement ID is TF00370131.

Defect ID
