The field selected form the Quest Selector webpart would not populate some of the columns when creating a new item from the Quest list view webpart using the Quest List form webpart using the NewForm.aspx.

This is an expected behaviour.
Trying to connect the Quest Selector and the Quest List Form in NewForm.aspx will not work.
There is a SharePoint bug that prevents a webpart to be connected with another webpart when trying to do it in NewForm.aspx, EditForm.aspx or DispForm.aspx.
The workaround is to create a regular page (default.aspx) using SharePoint Designer and put the Quest Selector and Quest List Form in that regular page. In order to redirect the user to this regular page when clicking the New Button, set the NewFormURL attribute in the Viewed Lists property in the Quest List View.
