After upgrading Newsgator to v.4.1,  users with Site ‘contribute’ permissions are getting ‘access denied’ when adding, editing or viewing items for a list configured with qlistForm.

Cause

When upgrading Newsgator to v.4.1, it seems Newsgator intercept and security trimming is causing this issue.

Resolution

While Development is looking into this issue, to immediately resolve the 'access denied' error, there are only two options:

1. roll-back Newsgator to the previous version
2. remove the Newsgator service application association from the web application
