When a user having Forms based authentication logs on a SharePoint site with a Quest list view webpart and tries to select Actions and select the “Open with Windows Explorer” action gets the following error message (see screenshot):-
“<path> is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions.
The network path was not found.”

Cause
This is related to issue with Forms Based authentication users. The error does not come up when the user is logged in as a Active Directory account.
Resolution
Unfortunately there is no solution for this issue as this is more of a SharePoint issue and not a Quest List View issue.
The workaround would be not to use the "Open with Window Explorer" option.
