Hi Sandy,
What are the conditions when you want to refresh the qListView (field validation, drop down selection changed or other web part event)?

We just want an auto refresh on the view so the users have a current view of the list items status if they leave their browser open without refreshing manually after a while. If something gets assigned the users don't know it unless they hit Refresh or I've found some auto page refresh options but it refreshes the whole page and I'd like to just refresh the view.

Hi Sandy,
Quest Web Parts don't have the Autorefresh option but you can accomplish that using a custom Javascript on the page that contains our web parts.

While the page refresh is helpful…it would be nice if it was just a webpart refresh and not the whole page. Is there any way to just refresh the webpart and not the whole page?

Out of the box there is no option to autorefresh the web part.
