  Would you mind to double check the QWP version since the version you mention 5.8 is not a valid version number of Quest Web Parts. Also, please add the SP version.

Hi there Folks,

We’re using version 5.8 and are coming across a strange issue.

We have a custom list which has four managed metadata fields. When using the filter option, and selecting one of the values for one of the metadata fields, then using any filter criteria (e.g. Contains), an error is displayed in an OK dialog titled ‘Message from webpage’ displaying the message ‘There was an error processing the request.

I have tried turning security validation off at web application level, however, this has upset Silverlight which now throws up another error message.

Do you have any advice on how we can resolve this
