AnonymousParticipantHi Geoff,
Please let me know your SharePoint and Quest Web Parts versions.
Meanwhile you can use SharePoint Designer, open the page and check the list name and location of the web part that causes the error. If you see that needs to be fixed please fix it, save the page and reload it in the browser.

AnonymousParticipantHi Geoff,
I instantiated the Project Dashboard template and I had no issues. Also I instantiated the Single Project template and same no issues.
My site structure looks like this:
http://machine:1234/prj This is the projects dashboard
Under this site I instantiated the Single Project and the sctructure is the following:
http://machine:1234/prj/single
One thing I want to point is that you need to have proper permissions to see/work with the template.
Please note that there are some security instructions to follow in order to make them work.
Please let me know how it goes.
PS
The templates we distribute with the product are for learning purposes however we have customers that use them in production and also customers that developed more features around these templates to adapt them better to their business needs.

AnonymousParticipantHi Geoff,
This is what you should see.
Note the Prj site and the subsite Single based on Single Project template.

AnonymousParticipantHi,
Many thanks for the reply.
I created the prj site from inside a subsite of a site collection and then the single project template from instead the prj site:
http://sitecollection/quest/projectdashboard/projectsite
The template of the Quest subsite was blank template – should this be another, or should the projectdashboard be the first subsite for this to work e.g.
http://sitecollection/projectdashboard/projectsite
Does this make sense?
Cheers

AnonymousParticipantHi Folks,
We’re testing out Quest Web Parts for clients who are interested in the Project Dashboard, Single and Multiple Project WSPs provided with the package.
Went throught the details concerning installation and then created a project dashboard site in a blank subsite. Noticed this error appearing in the top left portion of the Quick Launch bar:
The following error occurred: Please specify the “TextFieldName” attribute for the “Menu” element whose “ListName” equals to “Panel Menu”.
Can’t find any information about this error anywhere – does anyone have a clue why this is appearing and how to solve?
Cheers

AnonymousParticipantThe order I followed and I'd recommend is Project Dashboard then Single or Multi as subsites of the Dashboard.
In my case I created the Dashboard as subsite of the site collection.
From the URLs you sent I see that the you have quest in the URL of the dashboard but I can't see it in the single project.
Try to create it under projectdashboard.
