We have a list which have some very large multi line text fields.

There are several different solutions available for compressing and expanding these fields when using standard ListViews but none of the ones I’ve tried work when I use qlistview.

So is there any way of compressing large textfileds and expanding them when clicking on an icon when using qlistview.

We are on Sharepoint 2007 and are using

Web Part: qListView Product Version: 5.7 (Build 2012.3.15)

Hi Dave,

  Please check this tread http://communities.quest.com/thread/21015?tstart=0 and try to apply the idea that was suggesting (use custom html and js code to customize the data displaying).

Please check the documentation for more details and let me know how it goes.
