Using Quest Web Parts for SharePoint including qListView, qListForm, qSIListView, qChartView and qPanelMenu, FMC created a public-facing web portal based on Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007.

The most valuable feature of Quest Web Parts for FMC was the simplicity in configuring data input forms of varying complexity. In addition to the benefits gained by being able to create a SharePoint form in 10 minutes versus days, is that when FMC hit a wall, they could write custom actions using Quest Web Parts in order to handle more complex data validation or edge case scenarios. But for the most part, Quest was able to handle FMC’s requirements out of the box.
