  This is by design. qListView groups the items by the unique values of the field that is used to group by.

Our customer has a list with a multiple choice column called Department. Using qList View and enabling the Group checkbox for the Display Field ‘Department’, items with more than one choice are displayed as seen below:

Is this Group Display by design? We just want to get clarification whether a list item with more than 1 Department would display singularly in separate groups or if qListView will create a new Display Group for items with Multiple Departments?

The exception is qDiscussionView and how it handles multiple value, hierarchical category that is being grouped by.
