      Hi Alex,

        Go to ezEdit->Grid Appearance and set the property Main View Appearance Field Name to the field that the users use to set the color.

      The go to Color Appearance and set the conditions there;

      Field Value  Background Color

      Green          #336633 (use the color picker control)

      For more details about this feature please check the product documentation.

      All,

      I was wondering if it was possible to change the conditional background color of the qlist view based on text values.

      This is basically a status dashboard – so if the user enters the value green – I want the background to be green (or the text color).  I only need green, yellow, and red.

      I am presenting the values in qlist view.

      I know there is the tutorial to return an image using a java script, but I do not wish to pursue this option as it is too complicated for me.

      Thanks,

      Is it possible to accomplish this for a single field instead of the whole row?
