      Hi Sandy,

         Before going into a deeper investigation please disable Ajax on the form and try again.

      This fixes the issue in most of the cases. If it doesn't please let me know the QWP versio you are on.

      Thanks,

      Sandy – Apparently this is a different subforum than I have been using, so I just stumbled across your post just now.

      Quest has acknowledged this is a 5.4.1 issue which is supposedly fixed with 5.5, due for release on 6/15. (see http://en.community.dell.com/techcenter/sharepoint-for-all/f/4782/t/19553703#14332)

      Thanks Jim, Sandy,

        Indeed, 5.5 version is available for downloading.

      Please let me know how goes the people editor in 5.5.

      We are on SharePoint 2010 and all our forms with a Person field that we have set to “Use People Editor” on is broken.  When you submit the form you get an error and it won’t allow you to submit a new form.  This is also happening the same way in the Edit form.

      Here is my Display Fields data (the Assigned To field is the one that makes the form blow up):

      <DisplayFields>

        <Sessions />

        <Fields ContentType=”Task”>

          <Field Name=”Title” />

          <Field Name=”Priority” />

          <Field Name=”Status” />

          <Field Name=”% Complete” />

          <Field Name=”Assigned To” UsePeopleEditor=”true” UseCurrentUserAsDefaultValue=”true” />

          <Field Name=”Description” />

          <Field Name=”Start Date” />

          <Field Name=”Due Date” />

        </Fields>

      </DisplayFields>

      Also, here is a screen shot of the error:

      error.jpg

      If I remove the Use People Editor option it doesn’t blow up but we need that feature.  Any one else encountered this or know how to fix it?

      Yes, after upgrading to the 5.5 version of Quest Web Parts in our development environment our people picker issues are gone!
