Unfortunately, We don’t have qSICalendarView to support external data source. And there is no way to let qSIListView to support parent/child list currently. I have created a enhancement request for qSIListView: #443445.

AnonymousParticipantThanks ,

I am just curious then, what is the point of having the option to connect with SQL if people are so limited in what can be configured on the front end?
n
It's like have the keys to a Ferrari that will only go 20 MPH. 🙂
n
Or am I missing something?

AnonymousParticipantHi,
n
We are thinking of moving the back-end of the current system to SQL Server from SharePoint lists, but we understand there are limitations. For example, there is no qSICalendarView and based on initial investigation there isn’t any support for Parent / Child views in the qSIListView.
n
Our client has become accustom to the Calendar control and the Parent / Child view support the qListViews offer. Any real world advice on how we tackle those scenarios?
n
Thank you,

AnonymousParticipantHi
n
There was no such requirement at that time. This is why I have created an enhancement request for you now. We are listening the voice from customers, thank you for asking the requirement.
