I am working through the Cross-site lookup feature of the qListForm. One concern that occurs to me: when we are ready to migrate our applications, how do we ensure that any absolute server URLs get updated appropriately? I understand that relative URLs are the preferred way to go, but when we have situations where we are forced to use absolute URLs, we obviously would not want to have to touch every lookup field after migration to a different server. Is this something that can be handled in the web part configuration? If not, is this something that Migration Manager addresses?

Hi Jim;
Unfortunately while we still plan to support and make the URL's relative we haven't been able to get to that feature so even relative URLs may not help, so we do require manual updating. Realize that isn't the best answer and hopefully doesn't cause too much pain. This also isn't addressed fully in MMSP either.
