AnonymousParticipantHi Gonzalo,
n
This issue was identified as a defect. The workaround would be to raise the permissions level.

AnonymousParticipantHi,
We are using a webpart with parent and child configuration with a list being parent and a document library being a child. Then we have a qLiftForm configured for document library to consume some data from the parent list. This works perfectly fine as long as the users have Contribute permissions. Once the permissions are lowered to ‘Contribute without Delete’ users get access denied error at document check in step.
Using Sharepoint out of the box forms users are able to upload documents with contribute without delete permissions. Can you please guide if it is configurationally issue or a bug.
Thanks,

AnonymousParticipantHi ,
n
Thank you for your response.
n
Do you know why is this happening? How does the Web Part work that user needs delete permission in order to upload a document?
n
Do you know if there are there any plans to address this incident in the short term?
n
Thanks,
n
