      Hello,

(I am posting this for a customer).

When using a large number or lists or libraries, example 15 or more lists on the qListview Web Part, are there any concerns or known issues? Does this affect SharePoint’s overall performance or the search function by doing so?

Thank you for any assistance or information you can provide.

if the total items of lists or libraries in different sites are over 3000 on MOSS 2007 farm, is there any impact on performance?

      Hi Kristina,

One thing that we need to consider is the size of the lists and where those lists are located(same site or different sites).

If the lists are each over 5,000 items then we should expect a performance degradation searching.

One important thing is the SharePoint version. SharePoint 2010 manages better large lists than SharePoint 2007.
