QWP 5.6 Excel Viewer – how to unmerge cells in the export file?

      Hello,

      We are using QWP 5.6 in our SharePoint 2010 SP1 environment.  I created an Excel Viewer to export all the list columns from our Events list to Excel.  Since some fields contain multiple rows of comments, the exported Excel file ends up with merged cells, which makes it difficult when our users tried to do sorting within Excel.

      Could you let me know if there is a way to avoid cell merging when I configure the qExcelViewer?

      Hi ,

      The Excel file attached has persevered the multiline fields from SharePoint and merged them.

      The fix would be to change the SharePoint fields to single line instead of multi line. You need to be carefully since this operation can cause data loss.

      There is no option on the web part for merged cells.
