I have the same question as you but no feedbacks so far.  Were you able to resolve this issue?

      Hi Sandy, Myo,

This is the existing behavior of the web part.

I can log an enhancement request to address this.

I have a qSelector that used to work in past Quest Web Parts for SharePoint versions.  When I have the “Show Empty Selcetion” option checked in ezEdit then all items are displayed in the qListView when the “-Select One-” is selected in the qSelector.  Now however after upgrading to the 5.4.1 version of Quest Web Parts for SharePoint when “-Select One-” is selected no items show up instead of all of them.  It will still fileter when other values are selected like before but how do I get the option back to display all if nothing is selected?

      Hi Myo,

I’m thinking of a workaround but I can’t find anything because we filter based on the value selected in the drop down control.

We removed the qSelector which gives you the full list and encouraged users to filter from the Out of the Box SharePoint grid view by that column if they wanted to narrow the results by the category column.  Not what they were used to and we had some push back but eventually our users got used to it working that way.

      Wish I had a better answer…

I logged an ER with the number 282208 to address the issue and it will be prioritized accordingly.
