We have A/D groups planned for a future release for "Show Member Groups" and "Hide User Groups", but we don't have a date set yet.

The title pretty much says it all.

Is there a way of making “Show Member Groups” and “Hide User Groups” use Active Directory Security Groups for authentication, or is this capability going to be included in a future release of the web parts. It would save my organization a giant headache.

Our current setup has SharePoint groups with an Owners, Members, and Visitors group per site. We have a hierarchal site structure, and in each Members group there are Active Directory Security Groups for that sites members, which corresponds to that sites office. This prevents dual groups in our organization, and saves a lot of time for our SharePoint administrators.

FYI, we'd like to take advantage of this as well.  Thanks, and please let us know when it does become available.
