Possible Environmental Issues that can impact QuickApps for SharePoint

Sometimes environmental issues can surface in SharePoint that can cause QuickApps for SharePoint (QASP) not to render as expected. Some of these issues are related to custom configurations within SharePoint. qListForm errors The following error occurred: Value does not fall within the expected range

Trying to configure the qListForm web part to edit items in a list. If you try to group fields or add options to the Form Component Behavior, the web part just displays the error “The following error occurred: Value does not fall within the expected range.”

The error goes away when you remove the Group and Form Component Behavior settings. Configuring a qListForm web part for creating new items in the same list, Grouping fields and using the Form Component Behavior work fine when the Form Type is is set to NewListItem. The problem only happens when the Form Type is EditListItem.
