Date time Control causes issues when using the Submit button
Scenario 1: In qlist New /Edit form, when we enter invalid dates in date and Time Field, the error message is not thrown immediately like in OOTB form. Instead the error is thrown in a separate page. The error message should be displayed just below the column when invalid data was entered for it. Scenario 2: In qlist edit form when any validation fails for any field on click of custom action button, the Date and Time field is autopopulated with invalid data “01/01/0001”. Please find attached detail description of both the scenarios.
Two defects have been raised for each scenario and will be fixed in later builds.
There is a workaround to use the save and close button rather than the submit button to get arround this issue.
