The 2869 error is a windows installer error that shows a permissions issue, or a bad package assembly (corrupted install bits), or blocked.
1. Have you tried re-downloading the product? I suggest downloading the latest version of the product from www.Quest.com and this will give you the latest and greatest. QWP is currently at 5.6
2. Also, have you tried unzipping the package locally to the target server (where the tool will be installed?)
3. Once step 2 is done, you should run as admin, or preferably...run a CMD window as admin and navigate to the install location, and run the installer from a command line:
msiexec /i NameOftheMsi.msi
4. Have you right clicked and gone into properties of the installer and checked for blocked files?
