How to display the value of the field

Resolution

The solution is to use our qListView web part to display the list instead of OOB list view web part.

The cross-site lookup field gets saved in the siteUrl;#listName;#listItemId format and is displayed correctly in qListView web part using the "Display Field Name" feature under the "If this is a cross..." section (ezEdit->Display Fields->Edit).

 

The OOB list view web cannot display field value.
