To upgrade to version 6.2

1. Clear your browser’s cache.

2. Uninstall any previous versions of Development Studio for SharePoint, Web Parts for

SharePoint, or QuickApps for SharePoint. See “Uninstalling QuickApps for SharePoint” on

page 16.

3. Select a folder location if you want to backup your skin layouts and feature status. Click Next.

4. Make sure uninstall on every virtual server on the local server or server farm radio

button and the Perform iisreset after uninstall check box is selected are selected. Click

Next. Click Finish.

5. Install QuickApps for SharePoint version 6.2. See “Installing QuickApps for SharePoint” on

page 6.

6. Upload a valid license. See “Licensing” on page 8.

7. Select Restore the status of the QuickApps for SharePoint - Web Parts Library in

your farm.

8. Launch the Configuration Editor and address any issues shown in the message window of the

Web.Config tab. Select the message and click Fix. See “Configuring QuickApps for

SharePoint” on page 14.

9. Save the file.
