Cause
This is a product defect in the current version of Quest Web Part for SharePoint.
Resolution
WORKAROUND:
- Open the web.config that causes the web crash
- Delete or comment out the following line
<add name="Session" type="System.Web.SessionState.SessionStateModule" /> - Save changes to the web.config file.
- Apply all fixes using the Configuration Editor tool
- In some cases an iisreset maybe required
