In the upload files through the document manager or image manager, only some file types are allowed by default.

Cause

This is the default behaviour.

Resolution

Please contact the development team for a hotfix for version 5.3 where this is fixed, and  new property is added for configuration in the QWP Configuration Editor. Under the Editor tab, there is a textbox labelled Supported File Extensions, where a user can enter in a list of file extensions here, save changes, and do a page refresh. For example, can enter *.ppt, *.pptx, *.rft, *.vsd, or simply *.* for any file extension, and this will override the default list of supported extensions.
