Perform Validation does not work correctly when try to validate boolean type of field from SharePoint in qListForm,  the validation does stop the forms from continuing however the list still gets updated with the new item. 

Cause

Incorrect condition set for the operation in form behaviour for boolean type of field

Resolution

For boolen type of field validation, in the operation condition under Form Component Behaviour, "Not equal to" or "Equal to" should be used to set the condition whether the value it is 0 or 1.
