qSelector remembers the last item selected. Can this behaviour be turned off?

When accessing a page with a qSelector web part on it the web part remembers the last item that was selected. Is it possible to turn this behaviour off?

Cause

This cannot be turned off within the tool via a property change it can only be achieved with a custom action.

Resolution

The qSelector stores the currently selected item in the session variable provided in the Session Name property. If you leave the page and then come back to it, it will retrieve the last item that was selected from the session and automatically select it.
