Trying to add Quest Web Part to the page and cannot locate it within web part gallery.

The following  error occurs when you try to view the data from another web application stored in a different configuration database  :

“Unable to open the site “URL”. Error message: The Web application at URL could not be found. Verify that you have typed the URL correctly. If the URL should be serving existing content, the system administrator may need to add a new request URL mapping to the intended application.”

The Application Templates have been downloaded and installed on a SharePoint server. However,after instantiating a template, an error is received when trying to instantiate one of the templates.  

Here is the error message text:

An error occurred during the processing of /personal/administrator/CRM/default.aspx. Could not load file or assembly ‘WA.DataViewer, Version=4.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=2b4b09f1c57c8f0b’ or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.

Having an issue with  Quest Web Parts for SharePoint – what should be sent to support?

The list form cannot show the ID field of the list item when configuring Display Fields of the List Form

A Quest List Form is being used to create a new list item in a site.
A lookup column has been created to bring in the values for a particular column (Company, for example)
from a list. Sometimes, in the drop-down for the lookup column the same Company name can show
more than once. How can the drop-down list only display unique values?

The check box for a required field in a list is checked. The Quest List webpart does not show the red asterisk mark for the required field.
The expected behaviour should be that the red asterisk should show and that the field should be showing as required field.

There are two lists, one parent and one child.

To display items from both lists from a search without having to click on the expand icon, using a listview webpart in Development Studio for SharePoint 4.1.

The default view should be to show items for both lists.

How to setup a SI List View web part to show batch information. Need to connect two calendar web parts to the SI List View so that the user can specify the time period for example show the batches from Aug 1 2008 to Aug 31 2008.

The SI List view setup if configured to use two hard coded dates.

When uploading multiple documents to a version enabled document library from the Quest List form webpart only one document shows the correct version which is version 1.0 and the rest show as version 2.0 with two versions of the document even though there are no versions of the documents.

The expected behaviour should be that all the documents should show one version for documents not having any versions.
